Dr Marie Cox

Dr. Marie Cox is a University of Queensland graduate and Fellow of the F.R.A.C.G.P. who has been privileged to work in general practice at The Gap since 1990.

She has worked in antenatal and child health and refugee health outreach clinics with Queensland Health for 27 years.

She is committed to improved communication between health providers and has worked towards improved general practice liaison in many capacities over her medical career.

She works three (3) days per week at The Gap surgery and her areas of special interest are women’s health, child health, mental health and chronic disease management.

• MBBS, FRACGO, Dip Family Planning
