Dr Loo graduated medical school in 2006 and then spent time working in Orthapedics and Intensive Care before undertaking his General Practice training in the Northern Rivers of NSW. He has an special interest in Skin Cancer surgery and also assists an Orthopaedic Surgeon with private surgery in Brisbane.
Away from the medical centre, Dr Loo has welcomed his first child earlier this year and is also currently planning a wedding later in the year. He loves the flexibility of being in General Practice which allows him to spend time with his family as well as being able to provide professional and quality care to all his patients and their families too.

Dr Skoien is interested in a broad range of medicine and enjoys seeing patients of all ages.
She has a particular interest in Women’s Health and can insert and remove Implanon , and remove IUDs. She provides Shared Antenatal Care for patients attending RBWH .
She is available at The Gap and Ferny Hills Clinics , 4 days a week, including 1 evening, and also shares in the weekend roster at The Gap .

Dr Valentine has been working in General Practice for over 12 years. He completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2000. Following a two year Internship and Residency at Royal Adelaide Hospital Dr Valentine spent 5 years working fulltime as a Medical Officer with the Royal Australian Air Force. This included several overseas deployments, and coordination and conduct of aeromedical retrievals both overseas and within Australia.
Dr Valentine has a keen interest in all aspects of General Practice and enjoys treating both children and adults. He is an officially accredited Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) with CASA and maintains an avid interest in all aspects of aviation medicine. Dr Valentine also enjoys and regularly performs minor skin surgery and No Needle No Scalpel vasectomy procedures.
Dr Valentine is married with a four year old daughter. In his spare time he enjoys running, hiking, and mountain bike riding.

Dr Sondergeld is a highly qualified, experienced doctor who has studied in Australia, the USA and the UK.
He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland and has completed higher qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Anaesthetics, General Practice and Rural Medicine.
He was the Medical Superintendent of the Texas Hospital in southern Queensland for 14 years and is very experienced across the broad range of procedural and non-procedural general practice. He enjoys treating all ages – from children through to the elderly – and has a particular interest in conditions of the outer ear requiring intervention using the operating microscope (infections, cleaning following previous ear surgery, clearing wax obstruction).
Dr Sondergeld is a published researcher and author and is the only person to have been President of both the AMA and the Rural Doctors Association in Queensland. He has served on each of their national bodies and was a founder of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. He was an examiner for the Fellowship of the Australian College of General Practitioners and continues to teach medical students and registrars. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners (England) for ‘significant contribution to Medicine’ and the Fellowship of the AMA for his ‘outstanding contribution to the medical profession’.
Married to Leanne, they have three children, George (pharmacist), William (who has an intellectual disability and enriches the life of everyone he meets) and Louisa (medical student). They attend St Mark’s Anglican Church, The Gap.
Dr Sondergeld was selected for representative cricket in Australia and played League Cricket in England. He holds further qualifications in music and wine appreciation. He is an avid reader and is also a season ticket holder at the Broncos and the Gabba.

Dr Mohini Prasad is a United World College graduate (Canada 1995), completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Fiji in 2001 and has run her own medical practice there for 7 years, before migrating to Australia.
She obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014, and has joined the practice permanently. Apart from love for all aspects of General Practice, she has particular interests in Mental Health, Adolescent, Aged Care Medicine and Women’s Health, with 4 years of vocational clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
She has served as secretary of the Standards Committee and Chaired Education Committee -Central Faculty with the Fiji College of General Practitioners while in Fiji. She has been actively involved in organising educational programs for GPs and undertaking ‘on air’ health awareness programs in Fiji.
Dr Prasad is aligned with the Mater Mother’s and Metro North Antenatal Care and has commenced IUD (Mirena) insertions at the practice. She also does IUD removals, Implanon insertions and removals.
She enjoys travelling and activities with her son and has interests in yoga, outdoor and creative activities and philosophy (poetry).

Walton Bridge Medical Centre has now joined SmartClinics.
Our existing doctors are continuing under the SmartClinics banner, though Dr Matt Cadman has left the group owing to a health problem and Dr Clare Devlin retired at the end of 2016.
Our nursing, reception and administration Staff are continuing, and our clinic will soon have some new signage and eventually a refurbishment is proposed.
Our hours of operation continue unchanged, with services available every day of the year. Walton Bridge Medical Centre looks forward to the new partnering arrangements, and to our doctors continuing your health care at our three locations.
