Medical Centres Open When You Need Us

When you’re feeling unwell, waiting hours in a hospital emergency department or until your regular GP reopens the next day can be stressful and inconvenient. That’s why SmartClinics Family Medical Centres offer extended opening hours across many of our locations — including early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays.

Our goal is simple: accessible, same-day GP care when you need it most.

Extended GP Opening Hours

Several SmartClinics medical centres are open outside standard business hours to support busy families, workers, students and anyone needing urgent, non-emergency medical care.

Depending on location, you’ll find:

  • Early morning GP appointments before work or school

  • Late night doctors’ appointments

  • Saturday GP clinics

  • Sunday GP appointments

  • Public holiday medical care

This helps you avoid unnecessary hospital visits for minor illnesses and receive timely treatment in a familiar, community-based setting.

Comprehensive Care for Minor Illness & Injury

While some providers offer home visits, services are often limited. At SmartClinics, you have access to fully equipped medical centres providing treatment for a broad range of conditions, including:

  • Colds, flu and infections

  • Minor injuries

  • Skin conditions

  • Chronic disease management support

Opening Hours – After Hours & Weekend Availability

Chermside is open from 7am until 9.30pm everyday (except Christmas day).

Deception Bay is open until 9pm on Mondays and from 8.15am Monday to Friday

West End is open from 7.30am Monday to Friday plus open Saturday

Carseldine has early appointments from 7:30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and open on Saturday

Windsor is open from 7am Monday to Friday

Telehealth appointments are available at selected SmartClinics locations, providing convenient access to GP consultations from the comfort of your home. Please contact your preferred clinic to confirm availability and eligibility for Telehealth services.
