Dr Kornelia (Konny) Komlovari

Dr Konny completed her GP training in both the UK and Australia. Born and raised in Germany, she brings an international perspective and nearly 40 years of experience in general practice to the SmartClinics Smithfield team.

Dr Konny has a special interest in skin cancer medicine, providing skin cancer checks, skin cancer detection, skin cancer treatment and skin cancer procedures. She has extensive experience diagnosing and treating skin cancers and believes that a thorough skin examination is the most important step in the early detection and successful treatment of skin cancer.

In addition to skin cancer medicine, Dr Konny offers comprehensive women’s health services, including contraception advice, antenatal care, menopause management and medical termination of pregnancy. She enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and supporting them through every stage of life.

In 2012, Dr Konny introduced Fraxel laser treatment to her practice and is qualified in laser safety. Fraxel laser treatment can improve skin affected by sun damage and ageing, while also treating melasma, acne scars and surgical scars. By stimulating collagen regeneration, Fraxel laser helps improve skin texture, elasticity and overall appearance.

Dr Konny welcomes new patients of all ages at SmartClinics Smithfield.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys walking along the beach or through the rainforest and appreciates good food and music.
