Dr Vanessa Siu

Dr Vanessa is a GP at SmartClinics Taigum who provides personalised care with a special interest in women’s health. She values good communication and takes the time to work with patients to understand their health needs and support their wellbeing.

Dr Vanessa obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland and completed her GP training in Sydney. She has a Diploma in Child Health and a Certificate of Reproductive and Sexual Health. She also works as a medical educator, providing training in sexual and reproductive health.

Her areas of interest in women’s health include:

• Contraception, including IUD insertion and removal and contraceptive implant insertion and removal
• Preconception, pregnancy and post-partum care
• Menstrual problems
• Pelvic pain
• Perimenopause and menopause
• Sexual health and difficulties

Dr Vanessa works collaboratively with patients, doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support patients in making informed decisions about their health.
