Dr Hemant Patel
Dr Hemant Patel has been working as a rural general practitioner in Australia since arriving in 2002. He has extensive experience across all areas of general practice, including acute and emergency care and the management of chronic medical conditions.
He has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions and diabetes and enjoys providing comprehensive, ongoing care to patients of all ages.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Hemant has held several academic medical roles, including supervising and assessing medical students, interns and international medical graduates. He has been a lecturer and examiner for the University of Adelaide and an examiner for the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
After many years working in rural general practice, Dr Hemant is now looking forward to bringing his experience and patient-centred approach to general practice in Brisbane.
