Dr Kemi Adu is an experienced Specialist General Practitioner who has been practising in Australia for several years. She is deeply committed to supporting women at every stage of life, with a special interest in women’s health, including perimenopause and menopause care. She is also passionate about mental health care.

Her work is guided by a genuine commitment to caring for people during their vulnerable moments. This compassion underpins her clinical approach and shapes the supportive and respectful environment she creates for her patients. Dr Kemi understands that many women prioritise others’ needs over their own and may feel uncertain or hesitant to raise their health concerns. She is particularly dedicated to menopause management, recognising the positive impact that appropriate care and support can have on women, their families, and their overall quality of life.

Dr Kemi takes a holistic approach to care, developing individualised treatment plans that consider each patient’s unique circumstances, health goals, and wellbeing. She values an integrative approach to medicine, understanding that the best outcomes are achieved when the whole person is considered. Active listening, shared decision-making, and patient education are central to her consultations, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and empowered in their healthcare journey.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Kemi contributes to the development of future GPs through her work as a GP registrar supervisor and mentor. She has also served as a RACGP examiner.

Outside of medicine, Dr Kemi enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, travelling, and exploring the arts, history, and culture.
