Dr Renata Rams-Harvey

Dr Renata Rams-Harvey is an experienced Brisbane GP who completed her medical degree in Poland in 1992 and continued her postgraduate training in Australia. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Dr Renata has worked across a range of settings, including eight years in Melbourne and seven years providing care in remote Northern Territory communities. She is now based in Brisbane, providing comprehensive, patient-centred care with a strong focus on women’s health.

She offers a full range of women’s health services, including contraception advice and procedures (IUD insertion and removal – Mirena, Kyleena and Copper, and Implanon), cervical screening, preventative health checks, and management of period concerns, endometriosis, PCOS and pelvic pain. Dr Renata also supports fertility and pre-conception planning, antenatal and postnatal care, and menopause and perimenopause management, including weight gain and hormonal health concerns.

Her care also includes chronic disease management, care plans, and mental health support, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. She is a certified provider of medical termination services.

Dr Renata has a special interest in travel medicine and holds a Travel Medicine Certificate through James Cook University. She provides travel health advice, vaccinations, and personalised pre-travel consultations.

Outside of work, Dr Renata enjoys staying active, spending time in nature and with animals, learning Argentinian tango, and playing bridge.
