COSMETIC MEDICINE CONSULTATIONS

Some independent general practitioners consulting from our clinics offer consultations regarding cosmetic medicine.

If you would like to discuss your concerns about facial ageing or other cosmetic matters, you can book a consultation with a GP who provides these services. During your appointment, the GP will discuss your concerns, assess your individual circumstances, explain the available management options, and determine whether any treatment is appropriate for you.

Not all patients will be suitable for cosmetic procedures. Any recommendations are made following an individual clinical assessment and informed consent process.

Consultation

A cosmetic medicine consultation may include discussion about:

• your concerns and treatment goals
• your medical history and any factors that may affect treatment suitability
• the potential benefits, risks and limitations of available options
• expected recovery, follow-up requirements and costs.

The consulting GP will answer any questions you may have to help you make an informed decision about your care.
