Dr Celina Chuo

Dr Celina is a Gp who sees patients at SmartClinics Annerley.  She was born in Malaysia before moving to Australia in 2011, where she completed her Bachelor of Surgery and Medicine at the University of Queensland.  She worked at the Princess Alexandra and Redlands Hospitals, where she worked in several disciplines including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Cardiology, Paediatric Emergency and Renal Medicine.

Her special interests include women’s health, children’s health, antenatal shared care and postnatal care, as well as family planning. Dr Celina loves getting to know her patients over time and building a relationship where she can help them achieve better health through preventative measures and holistic care. She enjoys keeping herself active by going to the gym, latin dancing (salsa and bachata) and social sport.

Medical Termination of Pregnancy – Service Information

Initial Appointment

This first consultation provides counselling to ensure this decision is right for you and to assess whether a medical termination is safe and appropriate in your case. This may involve referrals for blood tests, ultrasounds, and other assessments to determine how far along the pregnancy is.

Consultation fees: (depending on consult duration) Long Consults

• $147 with a Medicare rebate of $82.90
• $192 with a Medicare rebate of $125

Procedure Appointment
If proceeding, this appointment includes detailed education and information about what to expect after taking the medication, and when to seek emergency care if needed.

Fee:

• $450 with a Medicare rebate of $82.90

This fee covers:

• The procedure appointment (Long consult)
• A follow-up phone call within a few days
• A mandatory in-clinic follow-up appointment two weeks after the procedure
