Dr Evangeline Capuano
Dr Evangéline Capuano is a Townsville-based General Practitioner dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care within a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families across all stages of life, with a particular focus on empowering patients through clear, practical management plans that promote lasting wellbeing at home, school, and work.
Dr Capuano has a strong clinical interest in neurodivergence—particularly ADHD—and provides detailed assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management for both children and adults. She also conducts screening for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a range of mental health conditions, working collaboratively with patients, families, schools, and local specialists to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
She completed her medical training at James Cook University and has remained committed to serving the North Queensland community since 2019. Dr Capuano has spent time working in various paediatric and mental health departments across Queensland, gaining valuable experience alongside paediatricians and psychiatrists. This has strengthened her expertise in managing complex presentations and providing integrated, multidisciplinary care for patients with ADHD and related conditions.
Dr Capuano has completed the Sydney Child Health Program and is a registered provider of Focused Psychological Strategies, enabling her to incorporate structured, evidence-based mental health interventions into her general practice.
Dr Capuano is taking new patients and is a fully private billing Doctor.
