Since 2016, SmartClinics Pullenvale has been a trusted cornerstone of the community, providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to individuals and families. As an accredited general practice, we are dedicated to supporting the diverse health needs of Pullenvale and the surrounding areas.
Conveniently located at Pullenvale Marketplace—along the walkway between The Hitching Post Tavern and Buzzibee Café—our clinic offers a broad range of services tailored to your individual health requirements.
A Reminder About Respiratory and Gastro Symptoms
To ensure the safety of all patients and staff, we kindly ask the following:
- Cold and flu symptoms: Please advise reception upon arrival and wear a mask.
- Gastro symptoms: Please wear a mask and use the provided hand sanitiser.
- COVID-19: If you currently have COVID-19, please book a Telehealth appointment.
To keep everyone safe, please book an Isolation Room Consultation if you have any cold, flu, or gastro symptoms. If you have COVID-19, Telehealth appointments are required.

Please note: Medicare does not provide rebates for certain services such as commercial driving medicals, pre-employment medicals, insurance forms, medical reports, and other administrative or non-clinical assessments. These services require private billing.
ADHD Services
SmartClinics Pullenvale is not currently offering new ADHD diagnostic assessments.
However, we may be able to assist:
- Current patients, and
- New patients with an existing, valid ADHD diagnosis with ongoing medication management and script continuation, where clinically appropriate.
All ADHD-related care is provided at the discretion of the treating doctor and may require documentation such as previous specialist letters, diagnostic reports, or treatment summaries.
Fees
Bulk billing at our practice is offered at the discretion of each individual doctor. We automatically bulk bill:
- Patients aged 15 and under
- Patients holding a current Centrelink Health Care Card or Pension/Concession Card
Please note:
Bulk billing for results is not always guaranteed and is determined by the treating doctor.
All billing decisions remain at the discretion of the treating doctor.
Services That Are Not Bulk Billed
Some appointments incur fees that differ from standard consultations and are not bulk billed. These include but not limited to:
- Mental Health Care Plans
- Excisions/biopsies
- Iron infusions
- Certain treatment room procedures
- Weight Loss Management consultations
- Menopause/Perimenopause consultations
- Ear Syringing
- Therapeutic services/consultations
- ADHD services (including ongoing script management)
These services require private billing; however, patients with a valid Medicare card are eligible to receive a Medicare rebate.

Telehealth
AVAILABLE TO CURRENT PATIENTS ONLY WHO HAVE ATTENDED THIS CLINIC FACE TO FACE IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS
When you’re unwell, leaving the comfort of your home to see a GP can be a real effort. Luckily, you can book a GP phone consultation so you can get advice, treatment or a referral, medical certificate or a script without leaving home.
Please note that not all GP appointments are suitable for a telehealth consultation. This is at your doctor’s discretion. Telehealth is not suitable for you if you are:
- A new patient who wants a telehealth appointment
- A new patients seeking new medication
- Skin checks and minor procedures
Call our clinic to book your telehealth appointment or click the ‘Book Telehealth’ button above. Then either book appointment button or select your doctor and choose Telehealth.
Recalls and reminders
It is best practice to operate a recall system for abnormal results for pathology, radiology or specialist. We have a recall system in place, and we ask for your understanding and acceptance of this policy. If necessary, you will be contacted by one of our Doctors, Nurses or Receptionists – by letter, phone or SMS – usually to make an appointment concerning these results.
