Fees
The GPs at this practice operate mixed billing, and a fee is payable on the day for most consultations, including telephone. The fee you will pay for your consultation will therefore depend on the length and type of consultation you have.
- Some GPS will bulk bill children under 16 and over the age of 65 years old who hold concession cards (those over 65 who do not receive concession care will be billed privately)
- Some GPs will bulk-bill consults for patients between 16 and 65 who hold a current concession card.
- Some patients aged between 16 and 65 who hold a concession (excluding DVA) will be charged a consultation fee.
If you have a Medicare Card, Medicare will refund you a proportion of your fee (Medicare Rebate) and you will only be out of pocket the remaining amount. Please speak to our reception staff at the time of your appointment if you require more detailed information regarding specific fees.

When you’re unwell, leaving the comfort of your home to see a GP can be a real effort. Luckily, you can book a GP phone consultation so you can get advice, treatment or a referral, medical certificate or a script without leaving home.
Please note that not all GP appointments are suitable for a telehealth consultation. This is at your doctor’s discretion. Telehealth is not suitable for you if you are:
- A new patient who wants a telehealth appointment
- A new patients seeking new medication
- Skin checks and minor procedures

Recalls and Reminders
It is best practice to operate a recall system for abnormal results for pathology, radiology or specialist. Your local SmartClinics has a recall system in place and we ask for your understanding and acceptance of this policy. If necessary, you will be contacted by one of the doctors, Nursing Sisters or Receptionists – by letter, phone or SMS – usually to make an appointment concerning these results.
