Our Brisbane medical centres are open when you need us

It can be frustrating waiting in an emergency department at your local hospital, or having to wait until your regular GP re-opens the following day.

For this reason, there are a number of SmartClinics Family Medical Centres around Brisbane which remain open late, on public holidays and on the weekend when many other medical centres are closed.

While some Doctors provide home visiting services, they are often limited in the services they can provide. At our medical centres, you can receive treatment for a broad range of minor illnesses and conditions when you need to, so you can feel better sooner. As appointment fees may vary between clinics, please contact your preferred clinic directly for a breakdown on your consultation fees.

GP appointments on Public Holidays

Some Brisbane Medical Centres will remain open on public holidays in 2023 including Anzac Day, Labour Day, King’s Birthday, Christmas and Boxing Day. For details please clinic on the clinic you would like to visit and read the message under the opening hours section.  This typically includes Chermside, which is open 7 days and on most public holidays.

If you are suffering from chest pain or require urgent treatment please call an ambulance on 000 or contact your nearest Emergency Department. Deciding whether to go to an emergency department depends on the severity of your injury or illness.
