SmartClinics Brisbane City Family Medical Centre will be closed until Tuesday, 30th July.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Dr Ash is away on leave and will return on Tuesday, 30th July. Dr June Nar has moved to SmartClinics West End Family Medical Centre and welcomes patients to continue seeing her at the West End clinic.  Dr Nar will be checking all patient results and will follow up with patients at the West End clinic. FEES

The GPs at this practice operate Mixed Billing, and a fee is payable on the day for most consultations, including telehealth.

Fees will slightly increase on 1st June. Please click here for an updated fee list.

Following the announcement of the 2024-2025 Federal Budget and the Government’s lack of investment in General Practice, consultation fees will slightly increase on 1st June. This is due to the ongoing discrepancy between the cost of operating a general practice clinic and low increases to the Federal Government’s Medicare rebates. This decision has not been made lightly and is necessary to continue to provide high-quality health care to our local community. If you have concerns or questions regarding fees, please speak with our reception team.

After hours appointments

There are a number of SmartClinics Family Medical Centres around Queensland which remain open late and on the weekend when most other medical centres are closed.

While some Doctors provide home visiting services, they are often limited in the services they can provide. At our after hours medical centres, you can receive treatment for a broad range of minor illnesses and conditions when you need to, so you can feel better sooner. Release of records

Records will be released after receiving signed consent from the patient. A full set of records do possess an administration fee. There are no charges for a Health Summary however if you are requesting access to additional information where the volume of information we hold is large, we may charge a reasonable administration fee (including fees for photocopying).
