Dr Langton has been working in General Practice for approximately 10 years. Born and raised in New Zealand, she studied medicine at the University of Auckland before moving to Australia in 2006. She has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as Paediatrics. She underwent Specialist and General Practice training in Queensland, working in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
Married with 3 children, Dr Langton enjoys bush walks & hiking in her spare time, and is looking forward to being able to provide caring and compassionate care to all her patients.

Dr Patel graduated from Medical School at the University of London in 2006 and then commenced work for the NHS in England until 2015 where he worked in various hospitals around London doing geriatric medicine, A&E, anaesthetics, ENT, palliative care, oncology, vascular surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, and cardiology. Dr Patel also worked as a private GP for BUPA for three years doing health assessments. In his spare time Dr Patel enjoys playing soccer and badminton as well as running. He is married with a two year old daughter. He also likes travelling, photography, movies and music.

Dr Mousavifard was born in I.R.Iran and gained his Medical qualifications from Kerman Medical University. He spent eight years working as a GP abroad before moving to Australia with his wife and daughter in 2009. Dr Mousavifard holds a Fellowship with the Royal Australian college of General Practitioners and has a good reputation within the medical industry as being a well organised and thorough family doctor.

Dr Makeran has been a GP for over 13 years. She gained her medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2002.
In 2005 she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and also completed a Diploma of Paediatrics at Auckland University.
In 2006 Dr Makeran worked as a Medical Superintendent in Cherbourg Hospital, an Australian Indigenous community.
Dr Makeran was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2011.
More recently assisted Gynaecologist, Dr Bev Powell, and is experienced in Mirena insertion.
Dr Makeran treats her patients from a wholistic perspective whilst going the ‘extra mile’ and treating each patient as an individual. The “highest patient satisfaction” is her goal.

Dr Kumar has worked as a Senior Medical Officer/Consultant and Visiting Medical Officer in both Public and Private Emergency Departments as well as in General Practice.
Jash’s qualifications are extensive ranging into areas of Rural Remote Medicine, General Practice, Medical Administration, Medical Education, Acute Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular, Trauma and Critical Care Medicine. He also has acquired AMC Certificate. Jash strives to provide collaborative patient centred-care to achieve positive outcomes for each of his patients thus maintaining high patient satisfaction.
He also works with Academic, Tertiary and Trauma Centre; Department of Emergency Medicine at the Royal Brisbane (RBWH) and Mater Hospital.
He is passionate about developing education and improving Medical Practice in Australia and volunteers time to help in third world countries.

Recalls and reminders
Your local SmartClinics has a recall system in place and we ask for your understanding and acceptance of this policy. If necessary, you will be contacted by one of our Doctors, Nurses or Medical Reception team – by letter, phone or SMS – usually to make an appointment concerning these results.
Fees
Consultation fees will depend on the day, time and length of your appointment. There may also be costs associated with private vaccines or consumables used as part of a procedure. Pensioners and concession card holders may be bulk billed Monday to Friday. Children 16 and older will be privately billed. Children under 16 will be bulk billed Monday to Friday. Weekends are privately billed.
