Dr Maria Cheung

Dr Maria Cheung is now seeing patients at SmartClinics Toowong Family Medical Centre.

Dr. Maria graduated from Sydney University and obtained her Diploma in Obstetrics and Fellowship of GP in New South Wales. She is a very experienced GP who worked in Sydney for over 10 years before moving to Queensland. In the last 15 years, she worked part time in Brisbane City while raising her children.

Dr. Maria has special interests in women’s health and preventive health. Young adult health is another aspect of general practice that she finds rewarding after meeting many students both domestic and international while working in the city.
In her spare time she enjoys dining out with her husband, watching Netflix and cross stitching.
